I have come across a fantastic website today called 'Young House Love'. I'm on the hunt for inspirational decor pictures for our owner builder project & I must say that this couples home is beautiful. They have done really well & the website has a lot of D.I.Y tutorials. Big thumbs up!!

Floral & Printed Bed Sheets

Floral print or printed bed sheets in a good quality are hard to come by. The design I spotted on a 'Hannah Montana' episode made me want a set just like it. So if you share the same desire for a set of printed sheets as myself, I have searched & found a few high quality designs available, so you don't have to raid mum's linen closet.

Miley Cyrus & Max Azria Do Walmart

Walmart. What exactly is Walmart? Is it like Kmart? Being in Australia & not having Walmart we miss out on great lines like this one. I really hope they bring this line to Australia because I can't work out Walmarts sizing charts & I'm not sure if they would even ship to Oz. This pic is just a sample of what's on offer. Visit Walmart Online to see the whole range. I want the ruffle shirt & the denim shorts, and with the USD at about .84 to our $1.00, they are a bargain. Hmm ebay maybe...

Inspirational Designers: Eileen Gray

A woman with imagtination was Eileen Gray 1878-1976. She designed some amazingly original furniture including the bibendum chair, the E1027 table & even succeeded in architecture. The the E-1027 house, which began in 1924 is currently being renovated by the French government. Today her work still looks fresh & original, so imagine how amazing it must have looked in the 1920's & 30's. She was modern in every aspect of her long life & lived into her 90's. I thought I would share some photographs including some of her designs.

Miley Cyrus On The Cover Of 'ELLE' Magazine

Looking so great yet so natural is Miley Cyrus. On the cover of Elle Magazine & talking about her life & new clothing line with Max Azria for Wal-Mart. This shot is one from the Elle website & they are all great. I do hope that Australian department stores embrace the line. I would love to have a pair of Miley Cyrus jeans all to myself!!

Candlewick Interiors

I am in love with this room. Last month I opened my Australian House & Garden Magazine to find myself in love with this dining slash formal lounge room. Designed by 'Candlewick Interiors'.

The luscious long curtains meet the round dark & sophisticated dining with an element of country softness in the chairs. I want to be there enjoying my breakfast in the sunlight.

Pantone Fall Fashion 2009

Pantone have released the colour report for American Fall Fashion 2009. See the full report here. I am loving the Burnt Sienna & Warm Olive. Will be intresting to see if these translate into our Australian clothing stores.

Unexpected Beauty: Emma Watson

Emma Watson, mainly known for her role in the Harry potter Movies. This girl has really taken me by suprise. While catching up on fashion blogs I came across a shoot that she has done for Teen Vogue. She looks great. Definatley model material. Glamorous photos of her with beautiful smokey eyes. Black & white photography & her 'no fuss' hair enhances her features with an 'honest' quality about them. I think she is going to be HUGE. One to look out for.

Bruno Comes To Town

Right now Bruno is in Australia promoting his new movie. Bruno has been my favourite character that Sasha Baron Cohen has brought to life. I love the little snippets from the Ali G Show of Bruno, however since those days, he has changed with the fashion, as expected from such a fashionista. I have heared such fantastic feedback from regular Australians who seemed to really enjoy his 'bit' on 'Rove' last night. I hope this movie is even bigger than 'Borat'. Because in the end, through all the controversy surrounding his 'shock antics' in these movies & promotions, in the end, we all learn something from them.
