I hope you all enjoyed your Australia Day. It has been very wet around here of late so many Australia Day events were cancelled but the sun came out for lots of people enjoying bbq's and a few drinks.
I for one had to work but I didn't mind too much. Lots of people were out shopping & supporting our economy which is all for the better! Most of them were very polite & wishing us a Happy Australia Day too, which was nice. My boys went for a nice horse ride while I was at work, taking advantage of the first sunny day after persistant rain for a week. It just made for quite a muddy ride.
Regardless, it is always a good opportunity to appreciate that we were so lucky to be born into such a beautiful, peaceful & laid-back country.
