So I know that my heart has been whisked away by the idea of the country. The warm but fresh air hugging my body & filling my lungs, the way the light of a sunset makes even the bugs glow. But yesterday I had news from my sister that she has secured her own slice of heaven, a lovely apartment in Sydney. For her & hubby it's just what they need. Walk to work, only a few minutes from Bondi beach & everything imaginable so conveniently on your door step. It will make life so much easier for them. As simple as the country seems, could you imagine the possibilities of inner city living? No car, catch the bus to Bondi Beach, walk only minutes to catch up with friends for lunch or go out for a few drinks, no need to stress about how your getting home. Come home to a balcony overlooking what most of us only see when we are on holiday, a cityscape of lights & the cool evening breeze. The country has my heart but the city has me envious!!
